Yoga

We offer group classes and private classes. Our classes are designed to be suitable for all levels. Modifications are offered if you are a beginner and challenging variations are available for advanced students.

Group classes

It is also possible to schedule a (weekly) group class on location. Starting with a minimum of 4 persons we will come to your home, work or a location of your choice and give you a descent yoga class in where you get the change to balance, stretch and strengthen your body and mind.

Corporate rates are also available! Want to start a group of colleagues that are in for some gentle Hatha yoga or some intensive Vinyasa yoga?! We will come to work or another location and we give you and your colleagues a class that will make you forget your ‘to do’list!

Private Classes

Massages

All of the massages are powerd by Adonai’s Perfect Touch in collaboration with Astar Lifestyle.

Our Massage Therapist offers a variety of massage treatments. Also she specializes in sports massage. You can enjoy your massage treatment in the relaxing and private surrounding of our AStar Studio or we can come to your home, work or at a location of your choice*.

At Adonai’s and AStar we strive to consistently simplify your choice and ensure you are receiving the treatment best suited to your individual needs. At the time of your service, your massage therapist will guide you through a series of questions that will determine the best treatment for you on that day.

Relax-massages

Every massage starts with the client’s body condition being checked and analyzed. After that the client is being consulted of what type of massage is desired. During your massage, your therapist will help you relax and clear your mind. There will be gentle music, candles and a cozy atmosphere. Of course if you have any suggestions that can make you feel more at ease, don’t hesitate to tell your therapist. After your massage your massage therapist will provide you with a treatment plan when desired together with some helpfull advice on mindfullnes, relaxation and maybe some supporting excercises.

Sports-massages

Also the sports massages start with the client’s body being checked and analyzed. Sports massages can be full-body or with a special focus on a certain part of the body. It is an intensive treatment geared towards people involved in sport activities to help prevent or treat injuries. Together with the client, the massage therapist will put together a treatment plan. This can start with giving attention and treatment to a problem area but also help prevent injuries on the long term.

Please take notice of the fact that you should always consult a doctor before taking a massage when you have a medical condition such as:

  1. Pregnancy;
  2. Taking medication;
  3. Suffering from cancer;
  4. Open wounds or fractures;
  5. Seeing a chiropractor or fysiotherapist.

*Please take notice of the fact that travel expenses will be added when the distance to deliver the service on location is further then 10 km from the Astar studio.

 

Personal Training

Your personal trainer will first ask you what you want out of your training. Common desires are to lose weight, gain strength and flexibility, improve cardiovascular health, build muscle or a combination of all of these. Your trainer will then assess your current level of fitness, taking into account any current medical conditions or constraints.

Next, your trainer will set short-term and long-term goals. Short-term goals are measurable factors, such losing a certain amount of pounds, toning up specific body parts or increasing the amount of weight you can lift within a matter of weeks. Long-term goals are achieving marked weight loss, flexibility or strength, and improving your overall health in a year or more and maintaining it for a lifetime.

Your personal trainer will then create a personalized plan for you to achieve your short-term and long-term fitness goals. If desired a nutritional plan is included to support your fitness plan. Your personal trainer will motivate you to success your goals and he will show you how to avoid boredom with your workout, as well as how to push yourself to succeed when you feel like giving up. Excercising is supposed to be FUN and it’s more FUN when you do it together!
